Joseph Fuller
Joseph Fuller is described as full of passion, artistry, and faith. He is a widely sought-after pianist for concert engagements all over the United States. His unique style captivates audiences with his technical precision and uplifting passion that comes from within his soul.
Beginning his musical studies at age five, Joseph's talent has been nurtered into a career that continues to flourish. He holds advanced degrees in piano and has worked with some of the world's finest opera houses, children's choruses, and universities in the United States. Having played under conductors from the Metropolitan Opera, Houston Grand Opera, Indianapolis Opera, Berkshire Opera, and the world renowned Indianapolis Children's Chorus, Joseph's playing has been influenced by some of music's most dynamic and classic composers.
In 2008, Joseph took a step into a different direction and released his first studio album entitled, Release… The title of this album came from Joseph's feelings that he had spent too much time being confined to an ideal of what music was suppose to sound like and not enough time connecting with the music spiritually and emotionally.
God brought Joseph through a catastrophic car accident in 2006 that almost took away his ability to play. After rehab and recovery, Joseph realized that his calling in music was to allow God to use the gift He had given him to bring inspiration and peace to others. Although his career in opera and accompanying has and still provides wonderful musical experiences, he felt he needed to find more freedom when he was behind the piano; out of this was born his first studio work studio work, Release.... This album features original arrangements of well-known hymns that have been the foundation of music ministry for centuries.
After Joseph's success with his first album and after being a guest artist in churches around the country, Joseph's second studio album, Abide With Me was released in 2011. This album has been described as "full of immense passion and musical drama". Abide With Me elaborates on his technical flare and soul-stirring ability to take a musical line and let it soar through the listener's soul. It takes you on a musical journey of music in a church service providing preludes, hymns, anthems, and postludes. Joseph's prayer is that this album brings joy, deep reflection, peace, and restoration while you listen.
